Sonoran Plein Air Painters Show
We had our opening today of the Sonoran Plein Air Painters (formerly the Tucson Plein Air Painters Society) exhibition at Murphey Gallery at St. Philips In The Hills, Tucson. We had a great turnout. We hung the show yesterday, and had to limit each member to two medium size (or three extra small) paintings. One of mine was a 16 x 20 of an agave that I painted in my back yard. And of course I couldn't resist including a 12 x 16 study that I had made of the iconic St. Philips church facade.
